- חרשא
- חָרָשָׁא, חָרָשm. (v. חֶרֶש; cmp. לַחַש) fascinator, charmer, sorcerer. Targ. O. Deut. 18:10 (some ed. חֲרָש); a. e.Cant. R. to III, 6. Y. Ḥag.II, 77d bot. עיסקיה דהדין ח׳וכ׳ it is the nature of a sorcerer that he can do nothing when lifted from the ground. Ber.62a bot. (in an incantation) לא חַרְשֵׁי דח׳וכ׳ (Var. דחָרָשֵׁי … pl., v.
